Medical Metaphors for Forgiveness

Lately I’ve been in search of a good sermon on forgiveness. It seems that most such sermons focus on why you should forgive (hint: its benefit is for the one forgiving, not the one forgiven). And while, as a teacher, I understand that why questions are supposed to be more challenging, in this case I struggle with the how. Continue reading


I need someone to remind me that…

  1. my testimony has value.
  2. I am neither hateful nor negative.
  3. anyone who judges me otherwise has pride and security issues of her own, and
  4. I should pray for such people.
